Foundation: God’s grace is the force that gives us the power to activate our faith!!!
Statement of Faith: We believe the Holy Bible is the only Bible. That it is the authoritative Word of God. We Believe Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind, rose from the dead on the third day ascended to the right hand of the Father. We believe that the Godhead exists eternally in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that these three are one God. We believe that God is the absolute and sole creator of the universe and that creation was by divine command. We believe that God, by His sovereign choice and out of love for men, sent Christ into the world to save sinners. We believe that by His dying and His shed blood, the Lord Jesus Christ made a perfect atonement for sin and redeemed us from the curse of the law. The blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross was sinless and has cleansed mankind of all sin. Jesus allowed Himself to be punished for both our sinfulness and our sins, enabling all those who believe to be free from the penalty of sin, which is death. Who, What and Why?

Our facilitator is a city girl raised in the Church. She was saved watching a Billy Graham crusade on TV as a young girl. Her Mother always said she had a “hot line” to the Lord when she prayed.
Jump ahead to her twenties where she struggled with digestive issues which became serious. Many long hospital stays, many medical errors and a major surgery later she is an actual “walking miracle”; these hurdles inspired the Phoenix in our Logo.
There is no question that God had a plan, a reason and purpose for her. After a few years pass she had that light bulb moment. She decided that she did have “a hot line to God” when praying for others. Now she was ready to super charge this skill. She sought out a Sister in Christ for advice and guidance in seeking the Gift of the Holy Spirit; which happened literally overnight! Her experience was quite calm in comparison to her friend who already had this mysterious gift. BUT her enthusiasm, joy and sense of urgency was almost overwhelming. The desire to share her experience and journey; to get the word out as a result of God blessing her with the gift of the Holy Spirit has brought her here today. “To everything is a season … ” Eccl. 3:1-8
