I accept the responsibility that comes with this wonderful gift. I intend to glorify Your name and pray for both believers and sinners. I understand that this is speaking directly to You God. And I humble myself and submit myself to Your will. Father thank you for opening my eyes to the possibilities and wonders of Your love. All for Your glory only, Thank You Lord.
+Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I seek all that You have for me. I desire with my whole heart to take hold of all that Your word promises Your children. Lord, allow me to be a vessel filled with the Holy Spirit. Release the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I open my mind to receiving this gift from You God. Thank You Father.
This may not happen quickly. I recommend fasting, praying and being quiet in order to concentrate. Praise and worship will bring the Holy Spirit. Simply praying the name of Jesus will bring the Holy Spirit. He is with us always. We just have to be ready to receive this particular gift from God. For me it was and is the Peace that passes all understanding; you actually feel His presence.
